Dear Friends,
I’ve copied these words from The Today’s English Version of the Good News Bible because the meaning seems to come through so clearly in this particular version.
The simple…, untainted trust in God’s love that a young shepherd boy had…, is just…., it is just so precious…, it brings peace to my mind. David might have written this Psalms as a grown man. I don’t know. But no matter whether he was old or young when he wrote it. He displays a childlike trust in God that is greatly admired by me. I love this Psalms.
Psalms 23
The Lord is my shepherd;
I have everything I need.
He lets me rest in fields of green grass
and leads me to quiet pools of fresh water.
He gives me new strength.
He guides me along right paths,
as He has promised.
Even if I go through the deepest darkness,
I will not be afraid, Lord,
for You are with me.
Your shepherd’s rod and staff protect me.
You prepare a banquet for me,
Where all my enemies can see me;
You welcome me as an honored guest
and fill my cup to the brim.
I know that Your goodness and love
will be with me all my life;
and Your house will be my home as long as I live.
It is my birthday today and I’d just like to say that:
I am so thankful that God has given me the strength and the opportunity to run by…, or run through…, all of these places.
When my Birthday-day is over, I will write a new post for you. I will share the workout experience that I have on this day. I don’t know what it is going to be yet. It is still early morning but It’s going to be special because the Lord is going to go with me.
Chapter 30 of Daisy and Connor’s World will be posted on Thursday. I hope you like it.
Have a great week living, Julia 🙂
