Do you like the sound of rain
When it falls and hits the drain?
One drop here, one drop there
Then it spatters everywhere
I feel I have to stop and listen
Long into the night, nothing missing
The pitter-patter has my full attention
On my window, drops do glisten
So I watch and I listen
Long into the night, not a chord am I missing

There are sunflower seeds on my cake!
I’m going to eat them, make no mistake.
But I want you to see them before the first bite I take.
And remember how sweet they looked upon my cake.
