Well, here we are in the middle of the holiday.
Steadily moving towards 2014.
Regular, routine schedules are tossed to the wind.
Busy-ness of a different sort has come into play.
I feel a sudden urge to regroup.
To check my ducks and make sure they haven’t strayed.
I have found that some things have slipped is what I’m trying to say
And I need to put back what has come out of whack.
I have discovered that parks are great place for that.
For taking walks and having chats.
And putting first things first and last things last.
For re-discovering what one has.
Hand to the plow, mind to the task
The long haul, the extra mile, a straight path
is what HE (God) asks
HE thinks we can do it, HE says, “There is nothing to it!”
“Easy for Him to say! He’s perfect! There’s nothing perfect about me, not even one thing.”
“Trust in Me.” He says. “Go the extra mile. I can show you the way.”
Philippians 1:6 Be confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ.
Let’s move into 2014 with our faith in tack.
